Exactly. In my teenage years, my mom was involved in a big Ponzi scheme. And she was making lots of money (which was fronted to her from by her upline). Luckily, when the group was raided by the state police, she got off and wasn't arrested. But those in her upline weren't as lucky and faced criminal charges.
